Ida Yog Giving Back to Society

As an enterprise started by a yogi we are deeply committed to giving back to society. Our philosophy promotes long term partnerships with grass root organizations and social enterprises by donating part of our revenue towards sustainable projects.

We are currently supporting One Tree Planted and for every ida yog product which you purchase we are donating USD 1.

As a reforestation partner for One Tree Planted we are currently supporting a women’s cooperative in Rwanda in their reforestation and sustainable agriculture project.

We have identified the following two areas which are best aligned to our philosophy and nature of business:

Sustainable ocean clean-up projects:Our products are 100% biodegradable which unlike plastic/TPE products don’t fill landfills and oceans, destroying marine life. We intend to partner with organisations involved in sustainable projects for ocean clean-up and conserving marine life

Sustainable ecological projects: We are also keen to work with projects involved in ecological agriculture, reforestation, wildlife and animal welfare.

How it Works

  • We will dedicate a portion of our profits towards the projects and causes we are supporting and that is linked to the products sold.
  • We have identified products which will contribute USD 1 each
  • Apart from direct monetary donations and contributions we will make every effort to educate our customers and site visitors about the fantastic work being done by our social partners encouraging them to make direct donations to the organisation.
  • We are open to ideas of creating joint marketing campaigns involving social media to leverage and cross promote our organizations.
